I've really been having the best few weeks ever (please note sarcasm). First off, I was cleaning out my room, and we found a shit load of mold in my closet. And, of course, you know, mold is a pretty disgusting matter as is, but ooh no. Anyway, I obviously couldn't stay in my own room because of the massive amount in there. So, I moved into my sister's room, but about a week later we found mold growing in her room, so then I was booted out onto the couch. The day after that, we found a ton of mold inhabiting the upstairs bathroom, as well as the side of a clothes drawer. Yummy, right?

The insurance company is supposed to send someone over tomorrow to test and see if the house is livable. If it is, we're going to try and get rid of it (we've already started working on the two downstairs rooms). If it isn't, then they're going to have to find somewhere else to stay until the problem is either resolved, or we find a new house.
The weather's just been so moist that the side of the house (just outside the closet in my bedroom) had actually started rotting. So, those shingles were all replaced, but now they've got to take out the wall in the closet and replace the sheetrock. Amazingly enough, they've already done that once before I originally moved in there, but it was only to make sure that there wasn't anything gross growing in there, and there hadn't been. They've also got to do the same thing in my sister's room, and then replace both of the carpets or put something else down instead.
Up until... we're guessing about a month ago, everything had been fine, but... ugh. It's fucking insane. Personally, I think we should knock the house down, but I've been told that apparently it isn't an option. xD
Anyways... if you don't hear from me for a while after tomorrow, that will mean I don't have any computer access. However, if we can still stay here, I'll post something else up tomorrow night to say 'nevermind, everything's cool'. If we end up having to leave, I'm going to try and find a computer, but I can't make any promises. So yeah, if I go missing, then just put up a hiatus. I'll be back when I can.
